The Riverside Ice & Leisure complex - Essex - Offering free use of their swimming facilities to all ages with physical and mental disabilities every Sunday between 18.00 and 19.00. 

We were advised of this facility by the Social Services' Children with Disabilities Team (CWD). It may be worth checking your local CWD to see if they can enquire about similar arrangements at your local leisure centre. 
 

Southend and Leigh swimming Club for the disabled (SEALS) has installed new facilities at Belfairs Swimming Pool.  The Leigh centre now has a pool hoist, a purpose-built disabled changing room with a hydraulic changing bed, floatation equipment and easy access to the pool for wheelchair users.

New members are welcome and can come along to Belfairs pool any Sunday from 4pm to 5pm.
